Select and Rep Prep Program 2025

Looking to be as ready as possible for Rep and Select Tryouts in September?

Come work with our instructors who will prepare your athlete to be as prepared as possible to show up well in a tryout.

Areas Covered:

  1. Skills to assess and improve: throwing/pitching mechanics, picking up ground balls, tracking flyballs and line drives, footwork at each position, optimal base running, relays, hitting timing and mechanics, hitting for solid contact and power.
  2. The Intangibles...being early, listening attentively, hustle, focus, how to deal with your failures, how to deal with your teammates failures, being supportive, fun and helpful.
  3. Baseball IQ. Knowing the game, strategies and tactics.

This program will be available the last 2 weeks of the 2025 summer (Aug 18-22 & Aug 25-29) and will be divided into junior and senior groups.

 * Please note that participation in this program does not guarantee making any team. Participation in the program will help players feel more prepared and provide them with an idea of what coaches will be looking for during tryouts. It is best to talk directly with a tryout team's coach to find out how many spots are available and what kind of player they are looking for and how much playing time will be availble for your child, to decide if it will be a good fit.

** East York Baseball Camp is a separate entity from East York Baseball Association and has no influence over coaches' decisions as to who makes their teams.
