Andrew brings a wealth of leadership, teaching experience and organizational skills to create a positive and fun culture of learning at the camp, clinics and after school lessons.
He is well respected in the Community for building infrastructure, processes and empowering a community.
Under his leadership the Pace Baseball Camp (formerly known as East York Baseball Camp) was formed in 2010, the Skills Development Clinics were started in 2013 and After School Lessons in 2024. All are thriving today. Our camp numbers have been the largest for any Toronto Baseball Camp, averaging over 100 kids and up to 20 staff a week throughout the 9 weeks of summer! The skills clinics are so popular we've have over 100 participants and up to 10 staff each Sunday throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. After School Lessons continue to help over 50 kids noticeably improve their skills in a short time.
Andrew is committed to building better baseball players and leaders.
Perhaps his greatest asset is identifying people's strengths and putting them in the right job with the proper supports and then getting out of the way! The Pace Baseball Camp staff are highly regarded in baseball circles as witnessed from players traveling from far reaching GTA areas such as Richmond Hill, Markham, High Park and West Hill. Most telling is the number of campers that re-register for multiple weeks.
This summer, Finley is stepping into the role of Assistant Director. He will continue to keep camp running smoothly by supporting staff, overseeing programming, and serving as the main point of contact for parents.
Finley has been part of EYBC since 2013, progressing from camper to Instructor and Camp Facilitator. His friendly, easy-going nature and commitment have made him a valued leader for campers, parents, and staff alike.
Finley is currently studying Philosophy with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Huron University, Western.
